Why I like to write about Abortion

Abortion is an ongoing issue which will eventually affect everyone in some way. I write about it because I’m against abortion, and I believe I can raise awareness this way. Not to mention I have the right to do so. In a way I’m protesting. It makes no sense to see abortion taking place while I do nothing about it even though I’m against it. I’m aware of other methods to fight this issue, but I believe I’m supposed to take this approach.

There are three goals I’m trying to accomplish by doing this. I want to raise abortion awareness, have information for those wanting to educate themselves about abortion or at least point them to the information, and I want to have a place for those who are against this same issue to express their views as to why they feel that way.

I have passion for this issue, so when I write about it, my passion will be express in my words. No matter how I come across, however, I’m not condemning a person. My beef is with abortion not people. Even if you’re pro-choice, I have nothing against you but everything against abortion. And it is possible to condemn an issue without condemning a person doing it.

For example, I’m a sinner yet loved by God. Though He hates sin He love sinners (me). That’s how I go about this, and that’s how I see this issue. The same way He can love me and condemn my sin is how I view the issue of abortion. Not people. An abortion for social reason (not ready, unplanned) is unjustifiable. You cannot justify taking a life in that way. And I simply write to make that known.
