My cry and Prayer for Sex Trafficking Victims
I woke up restless this morning, which is nothing new for me lately. But to stay on point I was tossing over the issue of human trafficking (more specifically sex trafficking). The horror is despicable, the act is hinnies, and the subject shouldn’t even be something that is in existence. Who can convey what these women are feeling? Who knows if they have anything left to feel? Isn’t sentiment taken from them as well?
I tried to grasp but how could I? My mind is incapable. In my weakness and inability to do anything for them, all I could do was weep. I’m torn in hopelessness and confusion by this issue. It’s much worse knowing that even in my compassion I’m left action less. The little action I did express couldn’t have done anything for these women. Because what is tearing? What did it do for them?
But crying out to God in prayer is the only thing I can do, the only thing I’m left with. I thought I cry out on my blog with the hope that my voice will be multiple by all those who are broken over this same issue. For I know in assemble of many cries, He’s known to respond.
When I get the courage to educate myself more on sex trafficking, I will write more articles for educational purposes. But as of right now, I am too weak to handle it. If anyone is knowledgeable about this subject and would like to educate my readers, connect with me. I would love for you to share your knowledge on this issue.
But for now, here is the one thing I can do for sex trafficking victims—pray. If you know the power of agreement, you know that it provokes God into movement. “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”—Mathew 18:20. Can you believe it? When more than one getter talking and God is included in the subject, the Great King actually leaves His throne room and comes in the mist. That’s some honor.
I post this prayer here so we can come as one voice, that our God will hear us and move on their behalf. At the end of the pray you can add what’s in your heart or what the spirit is leading you to pray. Words are powerful so let us cry for the helpless.
The prayer for the women who are involved in Sex trafficking
So Father, I come before you in the name of the resurrected Jesus. Father because you are the only true God. You are the only God with a will and emotion, the only one who has the power to express emotion and bring to pass a will. You are not created by hand. You are breathing that’d why our hope is on you.
Merciful God, we heard of your power; we heard of your greatness and what you did in the past. God, now we ask that you make this know in our time. Make your might power known to sex trafficking. God let this prayer provoke you to anger, and let it provoke you to mercy. God that through mercy for the women, you will pure out your wrath on the spirit that is manifesting itself. Challenge the spirit that disrespects your law of holiness and justice by doing acts of shame by polluting the beauty and purity you have created in your beloved.
God, let your heart go out to these women who are left with nothing, not even sense of self. With nothing to hold on to, reason to hope for or grounds to fight on. Look at them and respond that no other innocence woman would come to know such evil. For what reason do they have to live without self-worth? Forgive me for my ignorance, and excuse my carnal and limited mind but God, how can this go on while you are on the throne?
Oh God, challenge this spirit and put it to rest by the mouth of your word! God nothing is impossible for you and nothing is out of your reach. Stretch out your hands to them and lift them out of this pit that robs admiration to self, and restore them. God pleases! Have mercy on that next one to be! For you are a God capable of changing fate. Let your compassion be on them.
Great I AM, I have nothing to offer just a plea for the sex trafficking victims. Father, move on their behalf not because of me but for the sake of your name and your reputation. You are a merciful God, and a God of justice. Remind us that you are still on the throne, and you are in controlled of all things.
I can throw out many words but you don’t need them. All you need to do is search my heart and see the pain. But remember, the pain in my voice is but echo. I only echo the pain of the real sorrow, the real shame, and the real hopelessness. And the mourning that is true, which contains the real damage resides in the hearts and souls of the women. How much more distressed is carry by the actual cry than the echo? Hear their heart’s cry and respond and send rescue.
I know you to be a rightful judge that is why I bring my case to you. Please carry out judgment swiftly and with urgency. We don’t make you and we can’t make you move, but we can only hope. And your word says that our hope is sure when it’s on you. Give me that assurance.
You don’t require many words just a sincere heart. I open all that I am so you may review me. Review them also and see the condition of their soul. They are defenseless and in need of rescue. Holy Spirit, carry this cry to the hard of the Father, that He may summon the warriors of heaven for the mission of rescue.
Jesus, Merciful Jesus, in your Glorious name I pray. Amen.
Add any cry you have in your heart for the victimes of sex trafficking. Who knows, He might hear us and respond.
