God requires greater faith and all hope on Him

Business as usual is not going to fly is what I’m feeling in my Spirit. God is showing His Jealousy to His Children. He is requiring that we put all hope, all faith and all trust on Him. He is taking away everything that we once thought were security, everything we were leaning and resting on is being uprooted. And He’s breaking the foundation brick by brick.

God is putting His Children through refiner. He wants to solidify the little faith you and I have (it is sad He choose the hard way). Think about it, have you ever been in a situation like you are in right now? Did He ever put you in a position like this where it doesn’t make sense? He’s no longer sharing our trust and our hope with the things of the world. He alone wants to be trusted. I feel what is to come will require faith like never before. It demands unshakable faith, faith that is on the unshakable foundation, which is Christ. This is why we have to go through this (I hate it but its good).

It is a new and unfamiliar territory. It will be difficult. It will cause us a lot of tears (less if you quickly come to accept the fact that He is bigger than you and you can’t fight Him). God is calling us to start believing Him with unbelievable things. He’s putting us in a place where we have no choice but to trust Him. He’s doing this by calling us to believe Him for things unheard of, things almost unrealistic (irrational anticipation). We wouldn’t do it just for the sake of it so He stepped in by physically removing things that we’ve unconsciously put our hope in.

This is how you know the hand of God is in it: You don’t deserve the situation you are in because if it’s brought in front of the righteous judge, you will not be found guilty. But you deserve where you are from God’s perspective because now He can do what He wanted all along. Think about it, of all the people you know, you can find a couple who deserve to be in this situation, but God selected you instated. You deserve it because He counts you worthy of a higher calling.

It’s going to be hard. I say it again, it will be hard. At times it will even feel like it is never ending but God is there with you. It is better for you now than later. You might as well go through it now since you are this far. It will be harder if you take a turn and you have to go through it all over again next season. I am praying for you.
