What’s abortion?
Abortion is the physical execution of the fetus in an attempt to end pregnancy; it is also any of various surgical methods for terminating a pregnancy during the first six months, although some procedures are done well over that period. The reasons to undergo abortion vary within individuals, usually from unwanted or unexpected pregnancy (social reasons) to rape; insects, health, to any other reason a woman decides to undergo abortion.
Abortion Procedures
Options of procedure depend on the stage of pregnancy. There are two main procedures widely used: Abortion by Medical and abortion by Surgery. No matter the procedures used, there is always risk that comes with abortion. Being informed and understanding the procedure will benefit you. Medical Abortion
Medical Abortion is a non-surgical form of abortion. It first became available in the early 1970s. “There is little, if any, difference between medical and surgical abortion in terms of safety and efficacy. Surgical abortion
Surgical abortion is an abortion done using surgery procedure. Surgical abortion has many optional procedures than medical abortion. They are Suction Aspiration, Dilation & Curettage, Dilation & Evacuation; Induction Abortion, Dilation and Extraction. Side affect and risks are associate with all of the procedures. Risk of procedures
You can’t remove risk from abortion. There is always a risk. Abortion risks range from physical, physiological to emotional problems. Few things are done to minimize the risk, but the only way to do away with the risk is to not have one. The more knowledge you have about the process and procedures the better. Because it will help you make the right decision for both you and the baby.
